----WINTER GROOMING OF TRAILS----

Snow Shed---N 40^06.845 & W 121^28.714 (5108')

Jonesville Snow Park: Winter Grooming begins as soon as the gate --- on Humboldt Road at the Jonesville Snowpark --- closes. This closing signals that all roads and trails above the gate are closed to WHEELED TRAFFIC until late Spring when the gate is re-opened. The closed areas to WHEELED TRAFFIC also extend to HWY 89 and all areas above Snag Lake. These closed areas will be groomed by our machines for Snowmobile use as per our mandate from the USFS, State of California, and the Butte County Sheriff Dept. Please see our trail map and especially the New and Expanded map in our photo section of this web site. This map is courtesy of the USFS-Lassen National Forest Winter Rec. Program.

Current Status of Gate: ---O P E N ---O P E N --O P E N ------The Butte County Road Department has OPENED the gate. Grooming has ENDED until the gate is again closed next snow season.

See you next snow season......

The groomer will always post by late evening the trails groomed. Many find this useful, so it will be continued.

Groomers will have area maps of the trails for your use. They will be glad to stop and provide whatever information you need.

Caution: Well groomed trails can be EXTREMELY DANGEROUS when excessive speed and ICE are present. Please discuss this with the members of your party.
